My
background: I was the associate food editor of Natural Health magazine from 1998 through 2003. While at Natural Health I wrote feature articles, developed recipes, and wrote the popular regular column "Natural Kitchen." I also researched scientific and medical publications, performed nutrient data analysis, and wrote book reviews. I made numerous television and radio appearances and held cooking demonstrations and lectures at consumer health shows. I've been a professional editor and writer for seven years. I'm a graduate of the Radcliffe publishing program and earned a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Mount Holyoke College. I also have a degree in pastry arts from Johnson and Wales University and worked as a pastry chef for eight years. I live with my husband, Steve, in a house we built together in Guilford, Vermont.
